As Portland prepares to launch their Alta Bicycle Share program in the coming year, the Portland Mercury spoke with four writers from Minneapolis, Boston, Washington, DC, and New York about the bike-share programs in their cities. EPI's Director of Research Janet Larsen spoke about DC's Capital Bikeshare program, the country's second-largest system.
